5 pilots tonight. Heaven had work hours changed so was unable to make it. (thinking of writing a nasty letter to his boss)
Besea CO.
pppepp
Bluzoo
Ozzone
klicks

Had Klicks return to us, having got his new computer. This was an orientation for him as he set everything up and began relearning all he'd forgotten.
---
Orders came real late (Sunday) as you all know. The days of planning went out the window as our mission was changed. We ditched the LA5's we were going to fly and upped with Yak9's.
---
We began the night with sweep of 208 area and jumped a squad of 109s attacking it. We decimated them. My wingman Ozzone got HO'd (dang bad luck), on landing to reequip by a rouge 109 running for his life out of the area. After this we continued sweeps in support of ground attack units hitting the south pocket. Klicks got in alot of navigation practice as he tryed to keep up with our formation. All together we ended the night with at least 9 kills and as many pieces. Toward end we were encountering constant high 109s in the 30,000 foot range. ( so much for the 20,000 foot ceiling ) It was only thick enough to give high flyers some protection from our spotting them. Unfortunatly Besea and pppepp eventualy were wore down by numbers and lost. I couldn't support due to computer problems freezing me out of participation the rest of the night.
---
All in all we gave much better than we recieved but wish we could have held down the losses off three. Not sure what happened with klicks? Perhaps he can expand on that. Hehe maybe he's still in there looking for us!

Would be nice if you reached 208 a couple of minutes earlier. All of those 109's were low as 127 had already engaged them. Unfortunately, we were outnumbered 2 to 1 and only 3 of us were higher then 10K (in Yak's), so the LA5's were co-alt with the Jabo's and under their top cover. We managed several kills and made other ditch their bombs to avoid dying, but once I was low, I looked back and had 6 109's on me. Just as I was hitting the silk I saw your guys arrive.
