To all Allied Air Forces Malaya,

MAF 12 Kota Bharu has been overrun by Japanese forces. Thanks to your valiant effort in the air, Japanese invasion forces were slowed and hundreds of allied troops along with countless civilians have escaped to the South.

Our condition remains desperate.

Two days ago, the Royal Navy sent ‘Task Force Z’, the Battleship HMS Prince of Wales , the Battlecruiser HMS Repulse and several Destroyers (HMS Electra, Express, Vampire and Tenedos) to intercept the Japanese invasion fleet.

However, yesterday, a Japanese submarine spotted and fired several torpedoes at Task Force Z. Fearing their position has been likely reported to Japanese command, the Task Force has now turned South in anticipation of a Japanese air attack.

Mission Oders:

Find Task Force Z and protect her at all costs!
The last known location was 8.9.5 Heading approx 145 degrees.

Good Luck Gentlemen!

4th will have 2 wing pairs climb to 25k+ to cap, The rest (hopefully we have 4 wing pairs) will be at 10-12k ready to dive on enemy torpedo planes.

BnZ tactics!!!!! boom on a NME torpedo plane, get hits, Zoom back up. If we stay on the tail of the enemy, we will be toast. Ki-43's are sure to be escorting.
We are faster in a dive and at 4k, so if you have an NME on you, hit WEP 2, Zoom up to 3.5-4k get distance then zoom up as high as you can (back to 8-10k if possible) rinse and repeat. Do this in pairs, wingmen, go in trailing your leader and get hits on the same NME aircraft. (One, Two punch)

(***wing pairs, focus your fire on a specific area of the aircraft, left wing root for example....
wing lead call out where your bullets hit, wingman aim at same area of aircraft)

Hi escort, work as a team. Harass any high alt NME fighters. Keep them busy so they cant BnZ our lower fighters.
Dont get killed. Any NME that get killed are likely to come back at high alt... If you get caught lower, avoid a fight, zoom away and climb above the NME.

DO NOT GET LOW AND SLOW. AS a last resort, use Magoo retreat to get out of the combat area, and climb.
Last week we got ourselves into a low turning fight....DO NOT DO THAT this week.
