I like Nookybs suggestions about F108.

Also thank you for doing the climb tests sir. So for <60 miles climbing the best loadout should be 12x 500 lb in order to make sure we are above the engine FTH (full throttle height) of the Ki-44 before they intercept us. For longer missions the 1600 lb loadout seems optimal for maximum tonnage.

If we also have a defensive flight then I believe it's best that they operate at 30k+ ft altitude and focusing at intercepting buffs boom n zoom style, not letting themselves be lured into a scrap by low flying Jap fighters.
