Well we studied / and studied more.

Attacked airfield 261. All pilots assigned individual targets for our P39Q's and went in NOE.

On pull up one pilot ( Pppepp )hit the cliff and blew up.

All other pilots dropped right on target turned and straffed all others (base closed ) One bomb drop , one pass on way out.

Just then bounced by FBG100 and had running fight in our two flights. After aprox 10 minutes the over whelming numbers over powered B flight (bluzoo/ Heaven)
A flight continued the flight/fight for another 20 miles and finaly extraceted them selves.
-----------------------------
mission two: with numbers reduced AE lauched for target 292 or shipping in channel.

Having arrived over channel it was decided to divert back into 292 which had been hit and do what damage could be done.
During straffing attacks this flight was again attacked by the FBG100 and after a protracted and overwelming numbers fight both (Besea/ Ozzone ) were brought down.
Its been a tough Event! :!:
------------------------------
Happy Yule to all of you.
Drives environmentalist nuts when I bring that log big enough to burn for 12 days and set it on fire in my front lawn!
But they simmer down after I feed em some lefsa, Pheferness cookies and get em drunk on Gog..
They have all they can do rolling down the snow bank into their cars, weeving back to home and passing out to sweet memories.
Cheers BLUZOO..... 10 TFS, 50 FG, HAHN AB , GERMANY. RET.

Well-done, American Eagles! You said you could do it and you did. It was a pleasure to work with all of you.
