There's no orders recieved from Berlin. It seems the Russians managed to disrupt our communication lines, and orders from high command has not reached our front units. As such I've put together a combat plan. It is up to each squadron commander though to take the decisions he feels are the wisest, just make sure to keep a good communication and cooperation where we support each other.

Starting bases:
All buffs: F50
LF6: F74
23rd: F68
39th: F68
4th: F50

* I would like to ask for a few volunteers from all squads to fly bombers and come in at 20 000 ft. We could repeat this kind of strike again after the first sortie is done.

* 4th FG provide escort for the bombers, and provide Kursk front line support whenever available. All other squads fly buffs/tanks/fighters to support the front line at Kursk. LF6 also defend F74 from raids.

* We should try to focus all our fighters at the front at Kursk, making sure the Russians don't have free reign there. Fighters should always enter the area above 30 000 ft though, and either engage high alt VVS fighters, or if clear make boom n zooming attacks on Russian ground strikers, and then get the heck out of there. Once over friendly fields climb back up above 30 000 ft and come back to the area. We should really strive to come in at high altitude at all the time, and only go low for very short periods of opportunity. Do not get into a fürball down low before we killed off a good part of the Russian first line fighters.

* We should also have pilots do a few sneak attacks to fields/targets outside the Kursk area. This allows easy pickings with little resistance. These attacks should be made with maximum two bombers/Stukas though with maximum one escort fighter. We need to focus our forces at the centre front line, and can't afford to have to many pilots away from this area at a time.

* Tankers please wait for some 20-30 minutes before going balls in, as we need more time to get fighters over the front lines than the Russians do. Otherwise you'll be easy targets.

* We need to support our tanks but do this starting at high altitude, and only quick booms n zooms, then get out and get altitude back before entering the combat zone again.

* Below is a suggested ingress/egress path for the bombers on the first and second sortie.

Sortie 1: climb at bst1, but get all buffs together before getting to F32. Bomb any targets not cloud covered.
Route: F50 - F27 - F32 - F44
Targets: All post from F103 down to F104

Sortie 2: climb at bst1, but get all buffs together before getting to F17. Bomb any targets not cloud covered.
Route: F50 - F27 - F30 - F17
Targets: All post from F94 up to F123

What are the rules governing switching between standard and CA logins? Is it allowed? Is it teleporting to land a plane and then jump into a GV (via CA login or otherwise) at another nearby field? What about swapping from a GV to a plane? (Can the player exit his GV at a field and take off in an aircraft at a nearby field?)

A little late to ask, I know, but it appears that some have bounced between GV's and aircraft without losing a life. (No, I'm not going to search the logs to find examples; it's not that important to me.)

I believe that you are allowed to teleport fields for GV/plane swaps, but not for switching bomber/fighter.
