Just received from the S3 janitors:
The IJA intelligence service is a bit slow and thin for this frame. Reports have come in from our west coast watchers that shipping has been sighted north of 75. With closing of 108 all air traffic from Australia for Port Morseby must now be routed from air bases around Sidney or from the Fiji chain fields. Reports are also coming that a new airfield has been completed on Goodenough Island as well as a new port facility. It is possible that field is being used to ferry reinforcements and supplies into Buna.
