Lf6 moved to Field 67 for an airstart in Bf-109G6’s. We met up with the buff destroyers to provide cover while they attacked the incoming and outgoing buff groups. A few different groups of Mustangs were engaged with varying results; most of us avoided the temptation to attack the bombers in Bf-109G6’s.

After both bombers and fighters returned to their safe space (with milk, cookies, and pictures of puppies) Lf6 returned to various airfields and opted to return to the sky in FW190A-4’s so that we could take a few swipes at the bombers. Most seemed to prefer the FW190A-4. It is adequate for clearing bomber escorts and when a number of us met up with Thunderbolts, the superior roll rate of the 190 proved valuable.

It is the opinion of most in our group that the FW-190A-4 is the best aircraft in the hangar to do what we need to get done.
