Not so fast Dawger, you can CO the last 4 frames, I reserve my traditional place as Frame 1 CO, however, if you have lots of input for Frame 1, I would certainly entertain the ideas. As a Frame CO, I am always willing and wanting other squads ideas. I am not omnipotent, so I may miss something that is obvious to others. ;)

I wondered if you were going to claim your frame. ..but since we are your nemesis this series, I was going to let it slide.

Salute!

TNX, Sak-breath for back-handed compliment, heh heh.

Looking back at the archives and the first S3 ( Three Days in August ???), I see three pilots gaining recognition and one was Beaver. I don't think he was the CO for Allies, as we had 4th, best I recall, and they pretty much led the way for the Allied lites back then. 305th BG flew Axis because there were no dedicated mud movers on that side.

We lowly buff pukes got to know the Axis sqd folks and made friends. The Axis folks gained appreciation of the planning and such for the buffs.

So after 16 or 17 years, Beaver and Gums still keep keeping on.

Gums sends...

P.S. I am still against assigning CO duty by dictate of the janitors.

Note that Frame Coing is no longer coded in the Squad Roles chart. To his credit, Beaver almost always starts a "Frame CO Selection" thread for the side he happens to be on. COing of a Frame has been "optional" since the beginning of last season.

FWIW my personal way of looking at the Frame CO job, with the numbers we currently have, is that EVERY Squad will need to provide a CO for one Frame in each Series, some "lucky" Squads will have the opportunity to provide COs for TWO Frames in each Series.

Happy trails...

Sorry, Its all 5 frames or none.

If you insist on taking frame 1, you will need to find 4 more CO's.

Why you may ask? I would prefer a coherent, predictable overall plan and the best way to do that is to have one CO for all five frames. I don't expect anyone else to commit for 5 frames but I am willing to do it. I have done it before with much success.

And since the P38 is our group ride it is the most desirable one to CO all five frames.
