Allies started the series off with a bang. Wildcats had 24 kills, destroyed 51 targets, and only lost 5 planes. Zekes had 6 kills for 40 losses. However they also were credited with 2 USN CV sinkings. SBD's and TBD's destroyed 88 targets. IJ Kates sunk 8 ships.

So, they were flying Hellcats and not Wildcats, however they didn't look like Hellcats..... kinda explains a few things ; ) hehe
