S3#85 – The Slot; Solomon Islands - Winter 1942/43
In the fall of 1942 history has taken on a slightly different note in the Solomons Islands. The losses at Midway convience the Japanese not to contest Guadacanal as they regain strength but rather move to reinforce the other islands in the chain and prepare for a showdown with the growing US presence in the southeast. Both sides husband their all important carriers and as fleet movements swirl around this far off place, the stage is set for the naval and marine pilots of both sides to fight and die over the waters of The Slot.
First series in the new Solomons Terrain featuring 256 miles of rugged islands.
Series starts Sunday Feb 23 at 830pm Eastern\530pm Pacific in the Solomons S3 arena.
