I moved the 69th to axis to add numbers to the axis. Japanese outnumbered the AVG and British in the CBI theatre

I’m out of town. Will post maps and frame 1 orders next Tuesday.

Good luck with the Midway Event gents!

Rules say divide into 4 groups, but only provide 3 fields to start at?
Will we get legend so we know what size each base is?
When are passwords out?

Kunming has 1st and 2nd AVG. so that’s two.

3rd AVG at Toungoo and 67 squadron at Rangoon. These are the historical bases.

All I JAAF at Hanoi.

All groups take off at home base but can then fly to and land/rebase at any friendly field

I’ll find out if passwords can be made and sent out Monday or Tuesday. Orders for frame one come out Tuesday.

RULES FOR ALLIED BASING (Gold)
* The British B-339 Buffalo and Hurricane must be flown from the British Rangoon bases (F138, F144, F158), and pilots can not start a new life in a British plane from the American fields. Pilots are however allowed to land and rearm the Buffalo/Hurricane at the American fields.
* The American P-40 Hawks must be flown from American fields (F36, F46, F47, F55, F57, F86, F117, F124, F125), and pilots can not start a new life in a P-40 from the three British fields. Pilots are however allowed to land and rearm the Hawks at the British fields.
* No teleporting is allowed unless starting a new life or per special frame rules.

23rd FG and JG51 Mölders
The 23rd FG and JG51 represent the 1st and 2nd AVG, and must start each frame at Kunming or Chungking (F47, F55 or F57). They can later rebase during the frame. The 23rd FG and JG51 pilots must fly a P-40B or P-40E for their full first fighter life, but can switch planes and base after losing that life. Pilots can always switch to fly a buff when needed, and then switch back to their current fighter after the buff mission is done.

4th FG
The 4th FG represent the 3rd AVG, and must start each frame at Toungoo (F86 or F117). They can later rebase during the frame. The 4th FG pilots must fly a P-40B or P-40E for their full first fighter life, but can switch planes and base after losing that life. Pilots can always switch to fly a buff when needed, and then switch back to their current fighter after the buff mission is done.

416 and 417 RCAF
The RCAF squadrons represent the British RAF No. 67 squadron, and must start each frame at Rangoon (F138, F144 or F158). They can later rebase during the frame. The RCAF pilots must fly a B-339 Buffalo or Hawker Hurricane for their full first fighter life, but can switch planes and base after losing that life. Pilots can always switch to fly a buff when needed, and then switch back to their current fighter after the buff mission is done.

RULES FOR AXIS BASING (Red)
The squadrons on the Axis side represent the Japanese IJAAF Air Combat Group, 飛行戦隊 Hikō Sentai. All Axis squads must start each frame at Hanoi (F132). They can later rebase during the frame. Axis pilots can always choose to start in a fighter/buff, and later switch to a buff/fighter as needed, but no teleporting is allowed unless starting a new life.

Cheers!

JG-51 and Tainan Kokutai are part of the same squadron (Luftflotte 6) and have been for more than 5 years. We use a common web site to discuss planning; therefore, splitting us up for a series is problematic.
