RA Objective – Find and sink these ships before they can unload (end of frame). Target shipping will be represented by AI routines in or near the Grand Harbour of Malta. AI DEST1 (grey decks) represents the Valiant. DEST2 (tan decks) represent the two CLs. A freighter and Vic56 (fishing boat) represent the merchant ships and a transport represents the tanker. Note destruction of static (non-AI) shipping does not contribute to Axis objectives. Aircraft restrictions: Minimum ~30% of RA must fly Ju-87D exclusively. Remainder may fly the MC200 or SM.79 exclusively, as they see fit. Ju-87D may not carry torpedoes. Stocks of 100 octane fuel at Malta have been exhausted and only 87 octane fuel is available. The Hurricane I *87 oct will be available for the Allies. Good Luck! |

The Ju-87D may not carry a torpedo, otherwise, no restrictions. |

The Ju87 loaded with the really heavy bombs is a pig. You may wish to think carefully about bomb loads. Axis buffs will have 1 AI wingman. |

Observation: "Target shipping will be represented by AI routines in or near the Grand Harbour of Malta" Better have a mental image or map of the Grand Harbour's static shipping so as to differentiate between static and the ai that may/will be in the harbour. They'll have to be moving very slowly once near/in the harbour. The practice ai routine running in the s3 arena has the ships stationary... not sure if by design he's telling us they won't be moving? Can't imagine that. I'm not the best dive bomber, but will take a ju87 if I have to, to meet the 30% thing. Prefer he111. <S> |

More imagination required. <gdr> It is possible to set an AI ship or GV speed at 0. Ok, just to be a bit more helpful... Knowing where the static shipping is would be super helpful to the axis cause. AI shipping will also be firing ack! Valiant and CL AAA will have a longer reach than the AAA on the Tanker or Freighter. The Cargo ship (boat aka Vic56) does not have any AAA firing. When the rendering of AI shipping changes from the "green headed fly" to a ship profile, you may see it rotate in your FE. Practice routine has been updated to start shooting back. |

The northern one, as depicted above, is the Grand Harbour at Valetta and where your targets will be. RCAF should have two to start, with yukon showing up a bit late to make three. Probably best if we fly the MC.200. |
