Hey guys I will get some orders up early next week. I agree with drdart on the high low concept again. I also love those ki 44s man those things performed great! CO's if you can just post what ride you're going to fly and if you have a preference of basing. We have some time to work out a plan that fits every squadron. Thanks All! <S>

I think you will see tradional heavy buffs, with escorts this frame..the buff guys have spent 2 frames now attacking shipping. They are getting fed up with collision bubble..you will see B-24's this frame... with the pounding the 38's took last frame and with allies having a lead they will play it safe. not wanting to fall into any traps....to bad we cannot go offensive :) that would really throw a wrench in their works ...

I updated the a\c list to show the combined AE\8th FG group.

Expect to see more P40s in the final frame as they had a several guys in PP38s KIA.

Be interesting to find out if the Ki44 is a new FM or old FM and how it compares to the Ki61 if the FMs are the same.

Thanks Jabo sir.
From what I understand the Ki-44 is the old flightmodel, but an error crept into the code regarding the engine. So instead of boost1 becoming the new "100% throttle", at 100% throttle the ki-44 still produces full normal engine power, and the additional boost stages will pretty much be added as super-WEP. This is why this FM (flightmodel) can achieve such great climb rate and top speed now.

I'm not 100% sure it's true, but at least this is what I believe. The same phenomenon can also be seen in the Spitfire IXe. Both these models are awaiting a complete overhaul though.

Cheers!

P.S. The 4th Kokutai will most likely be flying the Ki-44 in frame 5 ;)
