| Post subject: | Aerial Recon Photos of Troop Positions |
Searching for some WW2 aerial recon photos of either dug-in troop positions or battlefield locations. Need to be vertical straight down views if possible. Need these for a texture to help tactical target locations to stand out. I have tried using google but its like a needle in a haystack and usually low-res from places of conflict. Only found one from chechnya that I could use. Want to try and colourize old black and white negatives to get the effect I am looking for. Lots of airfields and cities but need one at least 1024 pixels and clear if possible. Drawing a blank on the web search. |

Thanks dobs the ones you sent me I think will work. Its a matter of needing another pair of eyes and searching. I looked and looked and couldnt find any worth using. On another search now. WW2 era straight down photos of Pearl Harbour and area. If we can find some good ones this will make the Pearl terrain rock!! |
