Event starts 2030hrs EDT, Sunday 28 April 2024 and ends at 2330hrs.
The arena will be open for practice until Sunday afternoon.
Objective: Capture enemy fields. Team controlling the most fields at frame end wins.
Field Closure Requirements: destroy all AAA, FUELD and AMMOD objects.
Field Capture Requirements: Land/ditch at a closed field and exit.
Neutral (gray) fields are out of play. Neutral ack will not fire.
F1 Purple for arena login.
ATOLL TERRAIN
Both sides have the same plane set and each has one CV6 with 3 DD escorts.
Airfields: Bf109G-6, Fw190A-8, Spitfire LF MkIXe, P-38L, P-51D.
CV-6: F6F-5, A6M5, D3A Val (1 wingman), SBD Dauntless (1 wingman).
Bomber/GV login only useful for CV strike aircraft.
Unlimited lives. Teleporting permitted. It's DWEEBERY!
Radar: 10 miles, tower and inflight. Min alt 50 feet.
No fuel load restrictions.
ICON RANGE - Severely shortened. D3 for range, aircraft type/PID.
Airshow Smoke enabled. Useful for signaling where your aircraft is.
.smoke <interval in seconds> to activate. e.g. ".smoke 2" will result in smoke puffs appearing behind your a/c every 2 seconds.
".smoke 0" to end.
Note smoke appearance is affected by the "Effects File" selected under "Settings", "Miscellaneous Settings".
Once assigned to a country color you must stay there for the rest of the frame unless advised otherwise by the CM.
Initial Side assignments
4th, 23rd, RCAF start as GREEN.
352nd, okdoc start as RED.
Additional players more than welcome. Idea is to keep side split at ~50/50.
