Fair winds and Blue Skies Dan. Oh the memories of the Cons and meeting many of the folks we flew with and against.

Anyone up for some Flak Panzer Oil? Lifting my glass with you Dan. Dang time passes by quickly.

Highly unexpected.......

Sucks bigtime

Nickel in the grass.......

If possible would like to understand if this was some ongoing or totally unexpected thing.

Eagle's loss have great empathy for, feels like Dewolf sudden loss.

It was sudden as far as what his son Sluger has told us.

Quite a gut punch for us who were on TS with him most nights of the week.

He was an encyclopedia of facts and information on so many WWII aircraft, and he was very entertaining to listen to.

He flew smart and always had his squaddie's back.

I will miss his voice as well as flying his wing.

Blue skies Mr Blu!

Very sad news indeed, this hits home very hard. Foss had sounded in good health listening and talking to him on TS and was the man to go to to get info on WW2 aircraft. He would always be high up on his perch, flying smart and jumping unsuspecting pilots. He will be sorely missed and playing warbirds just won't be the same for those of us who flew with him. RIP Foss-j
