I am attempting to finish up the TS settings and with the exception of one line of missing code it is going well. Due to the fact that the original TS data could not be transferred to the new server, everything has to be rewritten. As such, I can only update your permissions when you are online and on your channel. Moderators can also update your permissions. The permissions are as follows: "M" (Moderator) -Drag and drop users across channels. -Grant permissions up to "M" within your channel. CO's and XO's get this by default and may task one more user with "M" permissions. -If "M" is overly granted it may be removed entirely, so keep it down to 3 per FG or BG. -Grant kick power to users within your channel. CO's and XO's get this by default and may task two more users with the "Kick" permissions. "*" (Kick) -Allows you to kick a user from your channel. Does not allow banning. Blue Shield w Gold Star "C" (Channel Officer) -Grant permissions up to "C". No limit. -Grant "R", "O" and "P" permissions. No limit. -Create semi-permanent sub-channels that will remain until no longer populated. -Grant rank and National flag icons. "R" (Registered) -Allows user join channels. "P" (Pilot) -Allows user to create semi-permanent channels that will remain until no longer populated. "O" (Officer) -Allows user to send private messages. "G" (Guest) -Just identifies a non-member or new user. All permissions are progressive from the bottom of the list to the top. Granting Permissions: If you are a Moderator you can update your member permissions as follows. Right click a users name. Left click "Set Server Group" Left click the desired permission. All your members should have "O", "P", National Flag, and a rank. You will have to repeat this step for each permission given. Uncheck any permissions not needed. Right click a users name. Left click "Set Channel Group" Left click desired permissions. All members should at least have "R" permissions. If you are giving "C" permissions it is not necessary to apply "R". Due to some missing code you may not be able to grant some permissions. Please let me know if you have any problems via email. klhill@juno.com <S> |

At least as of this post the other grades are not set by channel COs or moderators. I can assign USAAF, but not LW or RAF. |

It may be that your permissions were set outside of your channel. When in your channel do you have "G" beside your name? Send me an email klhill@juno.com and let me know when you will be on TS. Update: Working on Moderator permissions to access all available icons. Removed idle time value. All channels now have relevant icons. (Thanks +Flash) |
