In the first frame in a new terrain there were several field issues that effected deployment and play. There is a new update when you log into the S3 arena that should address several of these. Please test and report any issues.

Initial attacks buy strike squads from both sides resulted in two opposing strike squads meeting and hurting each other significantly over the Black Sea. Several losses were reported by both sides which effected their missions later in the frame. The Luftwaffe strike force was one building away from closing F32 and the VVS southern strike force had to take several sorties to close F42 late in the frame. The northern VVS strike force managed to close F153 but losses were heavy and severe low lying fog was reported in the area(FPS issues with new terrain).

With almost all the strike a/c down for the night it was up to the fighter squads to attempt to close fields. Which they proceeded to do. The axis closing three fields up north SW of Rostov and the VVS one. The German 109s proved to be the superior a/c during the night claiming 36 kills to the VVS fighters(La5F and Yak9D) 20. Overall the Axis claimed 45 e/a to the Soviet's 32. Each side closed 3 fields during play but a shortage of bomb carrying a/c made this very difficult and several sorties were needed. Both sides have added a fighter with extra ground attack capability, the MC202 and P39Q.

Axis take the lead 76 to 56 mainly due to their advantage in kills.

NOTES
1. Please check out your field before operations to detect any issues. This can be done offline once you log into the S3 Arena and download the manditory update. Several fields were either moved or had a bounding box added to help remove sticky grass issues. Less saturated textures were added to help with ground target ID. Some objects like trucks, tanks and parked a/c were hard to see from the air.
2. Please carefully go over the ground targets assigned using the .grndlabels command. It will show you all the objects attached to a field and what you need to destroy to close. Some fields have attached bridges or arty not immediately at the field.
3. Some confusion on what are AI and what is static. AI tanks and ships will have a icon while those that are static objects wont.
4. Added the P39Q and MC202 VII to the a/c mix to help in ground attack missions. As before each squad can decide which of the assigned types they can fly and what mix. Remember only 1 a/c type during a frame per pilot.
5. If you have fields issues or FPS issues during a frame please report it so we can look at the troublespots.
