Team Green (Allies) once again attacked the rail yard at F78, Le Touquet. Air battle was a bit bloodier than frame 1. Buff formations were scattered and many bombs dropped on F078 hit objects destroyed in frame 1. Team Green reminded that minimum 50% of pilots must fly the B-24 on a given sortie and buffs must stay together in a single formation. Team Green 7 Pilots 352nd: juice=, =wilz=, crhtwo, redsgt Other: =vslp=, WLDBIL, okdoc- P-47D - 8 sorties, shot down 1 Fw 190A-8, 2 Bf-109G6, 3 Bf 109G6/RVI. 2 aircraft lost. B-24J - 12 sorties, shot down 5 Fw 190A-8, 1 Bf 109G6. Destroyed 17 ground objects. Closed F078. One aircraft and six AI wingman lost. Team Gold 8 pilots RCAF: muzz--, -deak-, yukone 23rd: -splt-, grmpy-, slpsht 4th: jedijc Lone wolf: chzwhz Fw 190A-8: 15 sorties, shot down 1 P-47D and 4 AI B-24J, 6 aircraft lost. Bf 109G6: 9 sorties, no kills, 3 aircraft lost Bf 109G6/RVI: 8 sorties, shot down 1 B-24J and 2 AI B-24J. no kills, 3 aircraft lost. Team Green scores 12 VPs for enemy fighters that were lost and 30 VPs for the closure of F078, for a total of 42 VPs this frame. Team Gold scores 28 VPs for bringing down seven 4-engine bombers. After two frames, team Green slides ahead into the lead: Team Green 48 VPs Team Gold 36 VPs Frame 3 runs this Sunday, 2 April 2023. |
