Did you engaged any buffs in the last frame? I saw wellingtons (real player) pulling so hard the stick to try collide with the attacker... and the swordfish trying to frag! the same players I saw doing this in the main...the same to did it in the last frame. cause: they have lifes left my guest. |

Yes, my collision was with a Wellington and it was a player piloted plane. Most of the collisions I saw where fighter vs fighter. Fragging has become the order of the day for some players. But fragging is a whole different issue that needs to be looked into. Fencer |

I don't know what happened in the last frame, but the 23rd lost 7 airframes through frame 4 to collisions from attacking and a few more from ramming with the rammer flying away. It's not just an axis thing. As for other changes how about we go back to not having NOE crap going on every frame. This stuff started 10 years ago when the purge from WB's started. I can remember the donkey giving a special op once a series before this stuff started. |

It's not an Axis or Allied problem it's a WBs problem. The collision model is uncontrollable and unfair to all players, no matter what side their on. Ramming, HOing all lead to collisions with unpredictable results, time to level the playing field and discard the collision model. Fencer |

Is there a way to decrease the damage effect of a collision? So for instance you are diving on a buff, and get a little too close, you might lose a ron. However if you barrel right through a buff, then you would sustain lethal damage. Is this possible? Ie. if you just tap a collision box you get small damage. If you go through a plane, you would hit several collision boxes and sustain lethal damage..., I don’t like the idea of being able to park inside a bomber and shoot it from the inside. Which is what you could do with no collision bubble at all |

I doubt that any player could stay inside a buff. With all the lag, warping and connection differences I don't think that would even be a possibility. Besides that the AI wingmen otto gunners would still have field day on any fighter moving that slow. Fencer |

At this time I don't see a way to mitigate or adjust damage from collisions. I know lag is the real issue at work here, and yes, I can see pilots flying right thru other planes as a matter of course when collisions are off, once the guys get onto it that is |

And the problem with the HO/rammers flying thru other players airplanes is what? I would rather have a HO/rammer fly thru my plane doing NO damage the to have a one of the HO/ram brigade ram my plane, destroy me, and then fly away undamaged. Just so they can HO/ram, over and over again, with no bad results for them. The idea was the collision model would kept players from HOing. Now they have found a way to take advantage of this and use it to subvert the game for their own benefit. Just how realistic and fair is this. If they can't profit from ramming they might try a different tactic. That is until they find another way to screw the game up. Collision model is an unfair burden to many of the players that want to play this game, honestly and not use a unfair trick to game the game. Think about the future of WBs and let go of the unworkable past. Fencer |
