S3#108 - Channel Disasters - SpringSummer ETO 1942 1942 was a year of change in the ETO airwar. The USAAF was arriving in numbers while the Luftwaffe in France saw many of its units drawn off to other regions of war. But German quality made up for their loss of numbers and during two key Channel events they hoped to prove their superiority. In spring 1942 they would protect two battlecruisers running the channel gauntlet and in the summer they would face the entire might of the RAF over Dieppe. The battle was set. This series will highlight the classic Spitfire vs 109190 matchup just before heavy US involvement changed the shape of the airwar in Europe. Events are now unlocked so those wishing to interact with S3 squadrons may do so. Information will be provided to interested players at login. Come see what the we are all about. This event features the Channel 1944 terrain in the S3 Arena at 8:30PM Eastern/5:30 PM Pacific. Forum passwords are out to the squad COsXOs. Please let me know if I have missed some of the command staff. Terrain to be loaded when new update is live. Spitfires all redone so that will be the biggest change in this series.
